Uniting two existing teams under a single identity

Our role was to create a brand and digital presence that honoured history while signalling a new era for women’s football in Lincoln. Unified, credible, and ambitious from day one.
As a new club, clarity was essential. Any confusion risked undermining momentum and support.

Our Approach

Rooted in heritage and place, shaping a single, unified identity for the future.

With this historic union, we sought more than a badge.

We wanted a symbol that draws from Lincoln’s heritage, yet looks forward, something every player, fan and future talent can rally behind.
We drew inspiration from some of Lincoln’s most iconic visuals:

  • Gothic arches that have shaped the city for over 900 years
  • Lincoln’s infamous medieval castle
  • The nasal helm shape that ties directly to Lincoln’s medieval defenders
  • A subtle LW monogram woven into the icon

We created a new crest, brand system, and website that bring two teams together under a single, confident identity. Inspired by Lincoln’s iconic arches, the visual language reflects strength, unity, and progression; giving the club a clear and recognisable presence from launch.
